New Editor-in-Chief for SAJGO
The Society of Gynaecologic Oncology – SASGO is seeking an appropriate candidate with an excellent reputation to assume the responsibilities of Editor-in-Chief for the South African Journal of Gynaecologic Oncology – SAJGO, as the current Editor will be stepping down after more than 5 years in the position.
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the content and architecture of the journal, as well as maintaining and enhancing its standing in the academic world, and should therefor be an outstanding and well published professional in the field of Gynaecologic Oncology.
Candidates should possess a good understanding of the academic and management aspects of the publication and be able to set and implement editorial policy. In addition the Editor will recruit, appoint and manage associate editors and an editorial board and report to the SASGO executive committee from time to time.
Prospective candidates must demonstrate the managerial skills necessary to process submitted articles through the editorial cycle in a timely fashion.

All applicants will be considered by the selection committee who will then make recommendations to the SASGO executive committee. The final decision rests with the SASGO executive committee.
